RRR case: Arguments conclude…Final judgment after examination of medical reports

Arguments on Raghurama Raju Special Move Petition have concluded. To the division bench judges, the advocates on behalf of the MP showed photos of Raghurama Raju’s leg injuries. The High Court warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible for assaulting the YSRCP MP. The tribunal questioned what was actually going on in the state. Raghurama Raju’s lawyer appealed to the court to allow the Y category security provided to the YSRCP MP by the central government. The High Court Special Division Bench directed that a medical team comprising three doctors conduct medical examinations and submit the report within 2 hours. The tribunal said it would issue further orders only after receiving the medical report. The tribunal also ordered that video be recorded during medical examinations.
