AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy said he was shocked by the Ruia hospital incident. A compensation of Rs 10 lakh has been announced for the victims of oxygen deprivation at Tirupati Ruia Hospital. He felt that he was going to have to take responsibility for what was not in our hands. He recalled that six tankers were also airlifted from Gannavaram yesterday to fetch oxygen from Orissa. Three senior IAS officers have been assigned the responsibility of oxygen monitoring in AP.

Misrepresentation for political reasons

The Chief Minister reminded that oxygen was also being brought in from abroad to meet the oxygen shortage in AP. The CM advised the collectors of all the districts to be vigilant. He urged the doctors and officials to show humanity towards the Covid patients. The CM alleged that some were deliberately campaigning against the government for political reasons. He said the conditions were right to live with Covid. Traumatic events are also said to be happening. The CM reminded that all efforts are being made by the government to ensure that corona patients are not deprived of oxygen.
