We all know that Superstar Mahesh Babu runs a production company apart from acting. He started by co-producing his films beginning with ‘Srimanthudu’ and gets a stake in the profits alongside his remuneration. For the first time ever, he is producing a film which will not feature him. Titled ‘Major,’the film is based on the true story of ‘26/11’ martyr Major Sandeep Unni Krishnan. Multi-talented actor Adivi Sesh is playing the titular role while ‘Goodachari’ fame Sashi Kiran Tikka is directing it.
Adivi Sesh tweeted today that the team has finalized ‘Dabangg 3’ fame Saiee Manjrekar to play the leading role in ‘Major’. She is the daughter of Bollywood director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar. ‘Major’ is made under the joint production of Mahesh’s ‘GMB’ and ‘A+S’ in association with ‘Sony Pictures’. Sobhitha Dhulipala is also essaying an important role.
