Koratala Shiva belongs to the rare breed of directors like Rajamouli and Anil Ravipudi who doesn’t have a single flop in his career. His most awaited dream of making a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting realized with Acharya. He waited for almost two years for Chiru to start Acharya as Megastar was busy with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy earlier. By the time the shoot started to roll on rapidly, lockdown played spoilsport on Shiva’s plans.
After all these months, Koratala Shiva is recommencing the shoot from today and is planning to can the major portion of the film in this continuous schedule. He is said to have polished the script to the utmost perfection during the lockdown. Kajal Aggarwal is going to join this schedule shortly after she finishes her honeymoon. Makers have announced that they are going to release it for the coming summer recently.
If sources are to be believed, top Telugu TV channel Gemini TV has bagged the rights of Acharya for whopping prices. Ram Charan is playing an extended cameo in this film while Melody Brahma Mani Sharma is composing the tunes.
