The AP State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh is visiting a district daily and holding review meetings with officials regarding the upcoming local body polls. on the occasion, he toured Kadapa district and made some sensational remarks. He said that no force can stop him from conducting the AP Gram Panchayat Elections, adding that it is ridiculous to hinder elections that are supposed to be held constitutionally.
SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh during his visit to YSR Kadapa district recollected the memories he shared with the late AP CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He went on to say that it was because of YSR he is in such a good position today and that the late AP CM had immense respect towards the Indian Constitution. The SEC said that during YSR’s regime every individual had the freedom to speak openly without any fear and that YSR would always have a special place in his heart. The SEC also said that unanimous elections aren’t wrong but using force will not be tolerated. Nimmagadda Ramesh also made it clear that anyone trying to impose unanimous election will be disqualified and sent straight to their homes. He said that the Election Commission is eyeing every development related to the polls in the state.
