Sharwanand has made a separate mark of his own in Tollywood by selecting scripts with unique content. He stresses on the plot and his character’s scope other than run-of-the-mill build-ups. This penchant for different scripts gave him flops at times, and hence, he is experiencing a lean phase at this point. His last three movies ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’, ‘Ranarangam’ and ‘Jaanu’ were rejected outright by audience. His upcoming film ‘Sreekaram’ would have been released by now if not for lockdown.
Sharwa is playing the role of a young farmer in ‘Sreekaram’. He had already signed a different film named ‘Mahasamudram’ with RX100 fame Ajay Bhupathi. There are also a couple of other projects in pipeline and one of them will be directed by a newbie named Prakash. Scoop is that Sharwanand is portraying the role of a handicapped man in this movie. Generally these kinds of movies will work in Tamil and only time holds the answer whether this experiment will work here or not.
But Sharwanand’s vision is not to be taken lightly as he would have found something appealing in that character, says sources. Currently he is scouting for a suitable producer for this project to take off. Grapevine says Sharwanand is entering into Kollywood with a movie directed by Raja Sundaram shortly. After ‘Journey’ he hasn’t starred in another Tamil movie and let’s wait and see how these new projects will propel his career.
