After the industry hit Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, Stylish Star Allu Arjun is acting in Pushpa directed by Sukumar. It is based on red sandal smuggling which is prevalent in the forests of Seshachalam. The unit is now in Maredumilli canning forest scenes on the leading cast. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are participating in this schedule.
Bunny is playing the role of a truck driver named Pushpa Raj in it. Sukumar devised a never seen before rustic getup for Bunny which is making his fans go haywire. Initially, Sukumar opted for Vijay Sethupathi to play the antagonist’s role which hasn’t materialized due to the previous commitments of the latter. So the makers are scouting for a villain who can match Bunny’s craze and the film’s Pan-Indian appeal.
The makers are planning to film a song on Bunny in the surroundings of Vizag shortly. While DSP is composing the tunes for it, Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is handling the cinematography. Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media is bankrolling the project.
