Star comedian Sunil turned to hero’s roles after tasting an exponential success with Jakkanna’s Maryada Ramanna. This proved to be a fatal decision as all his outings as hero bombed at the box office except one or two. It made Sunil get back to basics and he is now busy with his usual supporting roles.
Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar penned a script named Vedantham Raghavaiah and roped Sunil to play the protagonist in it. Harish is also acting as a co-producer to VR in association with 14 Reels Plus banner. Chandra Mohan Chintada who directed Radha with Sharwanand earlier is helming the megaphone for it.
Vedantham Raghavaiah is going to be launched on January 18th and will be completed in continuous schedules. Though Harish planned it for OTT release originally, he has now changed his decision to release VR in theatres.
