TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has expressed concern that construction workers and daily wage laborers are facing severe financial hardship. He demanded that the government respond immediately and support 30 lakh construction workers. He criticized the government by saying that when TDP was in power they officially used to celebrate the Bhagiratha Jayanti every year. He said that due to the huge increase in sand prices, 30 lakh construction workers or laborers fell on the road.
Sand prices doubled
Chandrababu Naidu criticized the AP for charging Rs 1,000 per tonne in the name of sand prices and transport costs. Chandrababu demanded that the government generously support construction workers who fell on the road due to a shortage of sand and corona.
