TDP leader DK Satyaprabha passes away

Chittoor ex-MLA and senior TDP leader DK Satyaprabha passed away in Bengaluru. She was being treated for post-Covid complications and had suffered a myocardial infarction on Thursday.

DK Satyaprabha the national vice president of the TDP and ex-MLA of Chittoor passed away in Bengaluru. She was 70. The senior TDP leader who recovered from the deadly Coronavirus infection was being treated at the Vydehi multi-speciality Hospital in Whitefield, Bengaluru, for post-Covid complications, when she suffered a heart attack late night on Thursday.

She was the wife of former TTD Chairman DK Adikesavulu Naidu and had made her political debut following her husband’s death in 2013. In 2014, she contested from the Chittoor Assembly seat and won, however in 2019 she unsuccessfully contested from Rajampet. Later, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu appointed her as the national vice president of the party.

Satyaprabha’s demise has left TDP party workers in shock. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the death of the senior TDP leader and expressed his deep condolences to the family members.
