TDP’s Mecha Nageswara Rao defects to the TRS

Mecha Nageswara Rao, the only Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA from Telangana, has joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Wednesday. Of the two TDP MLAs in Telangana, Sathupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah had earlier joined the TRS, while the latest Aswaraopeta MLA Mecha Nageswara Rao has joined the TRS. With this, both the MLAs handed over a letter to the Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy stating that the TDLP is being merged with the TRS.
