Around 551 new Covid cases in Telangana have been registered, with the number of cases having touched the 2.8 lakh mark and 682 people have recovered from the deadly infection on Thursday. Meanwhile, the state health department informs that there are 7,040 active cases and over 2,71,649 people have recuperated from the pandemic to date. Sadly, 1506 people lost their lives due to the pandemic in the state. The recovery rate of Telangana is at 96.94% and the fatality rate is 0.53%.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday stated that in India a total of 99,79,447 Covid cases have been recorded and in the past 24 hours alone around 22,889 cases have been reported. While the Union Health Ministry says the active cases in India is at 3,13,831, the number of those recovered is at 95,20,827 and the total death toll has risen to 1,44,789.
