In an unfortunate incident, Nelavelli Ramarao, the BJP IT cell convenor was brutally murdered by unknown assailants at Wyra in Khammam district, in the wee hours of Saturday. The unidentified men who barged into the BJP leader’s house targeted him using sharp weapons and sickles, causing serious injuries. Though his family members rushed him to the hospital it was too late.
Following the incident, police filed against the unidentified assailants and an investigation is underway. However, the family members of the victim have expressed their suspicions on Rajesh. While police feel that family-related financial transactions might have led to the murder. Also, following the inputs from family members even the financial point of view may be considered. Interestingly, Ramarao and Rajesh have been close friends in the past and it is being alleged that financial disputes led them to part ways. Police suspect that this dispute might have led Rajesh to murder Ramarao.
