Now we don’t know what kind of a horror film and how many parts of it were shown to KCR by Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi, it’s learnt that the pink party boss surrendered himself. It is known that KCR gives it up when the situation is unfavourable and later changes his stance when the tide turns in his favour. However, at present, the Telangana CM’s decisions are swaying in favour of the BJP. On the other hand, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is being declined appointment to meet KCR to discuss regarding the Hyderabad Mayor post.
Stopped being adamant
CM KCR who was stubborn in the matters pertaining to the Detailed Project Reports related to various irrigation projects in Telangana, has now instructed his officials to prepare and submit them to the Centre. KCR has even decided against approaching the Supreme Court with regards to the Dharani Portal issue and has instructed authorities to comply with the necessary changes directed by the Telangana High Court. Apart from this, KCR has even directed his media houses to exercise restraint and not to publish news against the BJP, and PM Narendra Modi.

Without hurting the BJP
The pink party boss is chalking out a strategy for the Hyderabad Mayor post without hurting the BJP and is in a fix over the mayoral post having won just 56 seats in the GHMC elections. In this context, if the TRS aligns with the MIM then it would be a greater advantage for the BJP to criticize the ruling party. Hence, the TRS has decided to stay away from forming an alliance with the AIMIM at present.
Change in Municipal Act
The TRS mulls incorporating changes to the Municipal Act, wherein a party which has won majority seats can claim the mayoral post. As per this rule, the Municipal Commissioner invites the party which has won a greater number of seats and voting will be held in the council. Now, with the TRS having majority support of the members in the council it could claim the mayor post. In this process, the TRS will not need the support of MIM and the party too considers that safe.
To retain power without hurting the BJP
So, the TRS chief KCR is busy devising strategies in a way that it does not hurt its ally AIMIM at the same time maintain cordial relations with the Centre, without hurting the BJP. On the contrary, BJP’s strategy is only to retain power and doesn’t mind severing links with allies. It can be recollected that two NDA allies the Shiv Sena and Akali Dal had cut links with the BJP. Hope, even CM KCR would follow the same principle followed by the BJP in future.
