Telangana Congress seniors have gone silent

The Congress leaders who were seen brandishing their swords earlier have gone silent after returning from Delhi. No one knows what actually the reason is.

The senior leaders are maintaining silence on the Telangana PCC chief post. Till yesterday they raised swords against each other but now have gone silent. No one is opening their mouths after returning from Delhi and all are busy with their own works. No one knows what happened to them and what the high command has told them. The leaders who made allegations on the incharge of the party and announced they will not support the new PCC chief have gone silent now.

It is only V Hanumantha Rao who has made open statements after returning from Delhi. He gave an indication that he will leave the party if Revanth Reddy is made the TPCC chief. None of the leaders except him is talking to the media. It is learnt that the high command has given clear instructions to the party leaders. The party high command is learnt to have told the leaders that it would strengthen the party in Telangana and would give an opportunity to everyone.

The leaders are stating that it would create confusion among the cadre if they indulge in the talk of PCC president hence, they have decided to go silent. Those leaders who said they will leave the party if Revanth is made president, are not talking now. The Congress leaders are saying that they will accept whatever the decision of the high command is. It is learnt that the leaders are not making statements, as it would not only affect the party but also garnered them a bad name in front of the party high command. However, people are puzzled over the silence of the Congress leaders and opine that silence is an indication of the upcoming storm.
