Telangana Govt in a whirlwind of difficulties: Will Rs. 10,000 package help?

The prestige of the TRS party has flown away in the drain waters. Hyderabad residents are miffed that the government failed to take action despite them suffering due to the heavy rains. TRS leaders had faced the wrath of the people.

It can be understood, how angry the people were when they were seen catching the collars of the leaders. Many leaders were afraid of visiting the flood-affected areas too. With videos showing the anger of the people against the TRS on social media getting viral, the corporators, leaders are thinking twice before stepping out of their houses.

To overcome this situation, the TRS chief was ready to provide immediate relief to the flood-affected. It was decided to provide Rs.10,000 for each submerged house. Apart from this, it has been decided to provide Rs.1 lakh for a completely damaged house and Rs 50,000 for partially damaged houses.

The government has also decided to provide essential commodities sufficient for the next 15 days and initiated relief works. Now, local MLAs and Corporators are handing over financial assistance of Rs.10,000 along with relief kits and essential items to the victims.

The leaders are of the view that the graph of the TRS party would increase in the flooded areas with this support. People are happy that they were getting financial assistance and also ration for 15 days. TRS leaders also utilising the opportunity to counter-attack the BJP leaders who questioned the government for failing to provide support.

The TRS also wants to question the Centre for having failed to provide Rs.5,000 crores as immediate relief. They are of the opinion that the flood relief program would help them in getting closer to the people in the Greater elections. However, it has to be seen whether the TRS, which has already sunk deep could save itself or BJP will seize this opportunity and try to gain a foothold in Greater.
