The TDP has changed its route to reach out to the people in the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-elections. In a bid to win, a policy comprising of smart work blended with hard work has been chosen. On the one hand, it is promoting every house ten times at the booth level, as well as on social media with the slogan ‘Save Tirupati’. On the other hand, efforts are being taken to impress the youth along with basic campaigning methods. At the same time, the TDP cadre has decided to retaliate by intimidating the activists.
Staying away from the limelight
TDP will campaign by going to every house on foot without rushing forward while holding regular rallies and roadshows. One leader will be appointed as the coordinator for each booth. The TDP has been campaigning through its lifelong booth committees and handing over responsibilities to MLAs, MLCs and former MLAs. At the same time, it issued instructions to accurately record and take into account the views of local activists. Ten clusters have been set up for each assembly constituency to coordinate the booth committees by assembly constituencies.

Creating awareness among voters
There are five units in each cluster. There will be five booths in each unit. That is one booth for every thousand people. Each cluster is entrusted with the responsibility of supervision by an MLA, a constituency level leader as well as a local leader. Each booth is coordinated by a convener and zonal level leader. The members of the booth committee were tasked with influencing every hundred voters. An average of ten booth committee members will be in charge. According to this, a total of 15,000 to 20,000 people will be campaigning in the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency. They will explain the failures of the central and state governments, the anti-democratic policies pursued by the YCP at the field level, discrimination in the distribution of schemes and the progress made during the TDP regime. Directed to campaign at home at least ten times by the end of polling campaign time.
Smart work
Following the success of the TDP policy in Tadipatri, the same policy is being implemented in Tirupati. Save Tirupati slogan was also brought to the screen in Tirupati in the wake of good results. It is campaigning in Tirupati in a similar manner. The destruction of idols in temples, the policy followed by the YSRCP on religious issues, what the YCP said before the elections. What it is doing when it comes to power, all these issues will be publicized as part of Save Tirupati. Government interference in TTD matters, pagan propaganda, the YSRCP’s vicious propaganda in the past in the case of Pink Diamond, and the recent re-appointment of Ramana Deekshitulu, and other priests are also on the agenda. TDP also launched ‘Savetirupati.com’ for this purpose. Apart from this, it will also publicize the land grab of some YSRCP leaders in Tirupati.
