An unfortunate incident took place in Tenali of Guntur District. A land dispute pertaining to 418 square yards has been on for the past 22 years between K Chandramohan and Sambasiva Rao Yalavarthi, the husband of Tenali Market Yard Chairman in Panduranga Peta of Tenali District.
On Thursday, when both parties were supposed to attend the court hearing, YSRCP leader Sambasiva Rao Yalavarthi physically assaulted K Chandramohan with a knife. This led to Chandramohan suffer serious injuries. Even Chandramohan’s father who tried to stop Sambasiva Rao was hurt in the attack. A police case has been lodged and an investigation is underway.
