Having declared Visakhapatnam as the Executive Capital of Andhra Pradesh by the YSRCP government, people know who is indulging in land grabbing, land mafia and who are responsible for all the developments. However, when Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy went on to lecture his own party he had to face strong opposition from them. Though, Vijayasai enjoys a strong influence on the party he hesitated to give a strong reply.
The ruling party leaders expressed dissatisfaction over MP Vijayasai Reddy’s remarks at the District Review Committee meeting. When none of the leaders had the courage to reply, it was Chodavaram MLA Karanam Dharmasri who raised his voice.
MP Vijayasai Reddy bluntly addressed the meeting on land grabs and riots that started after the declaration of Visakhapatnam as the administrative capital. He said the party has adequate evidence against political leaders in the district who resorted to land grabbing, adding that ruling party members needed to be cautious in such matters.
On hearing this, many MLAs got agitated. Though, he did not mention anyone’s name some of them were fuming inside. However, MLA Dharmasri clarified regarding the allegations made against him. He asserted that the controversial allegations made against him, were totally false and that it was his relative who was involved in it. Now, MP V Vijayasai Reddy was shocked with the response given by Dharmasri. It appears that the MP unnecessarily raised this issue with his own party leaders.
