Vizag Steel Plant privatisation only to increase investment!

BJP MP Sujana Chowdary on Friday reacted on the Vizag Steel Plant privatisation while addressing a press conference in Hyderabad. He backed the Union Cabinet’s move to privatise the mega steel plant in the port city, adding that the sole aim behind the move was to generate investments. He hit out at the Opposition parties for unnecessarily politicizing the issue. The BJP MP even went onto say that the privatisation would not stop with the YSRCP and TDP protesting against it. He said that the Steel Plant would be in Vizag only and that it is not being shifted to some other country. Sujana Chowdary also stated that those who sacrificed their lives fighting for the Vizag Steel Plant will be remembered. However, he said that with changing times, drastic actions need to be taken.
