“What about you backstabbing people of Andhra Pradesh?” wrote an angry netizen when BJP Andhra Pradesh in-charge Sunil V Deodhar took to twitter, to troll TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
His tweet comes in line with an anti-TDP stand adopted by AP BJP leaders Somu Veerraju, party MP GVL Narasimha Rao and others. Taking to Twitter, Deodhar reminded Naidu, how 25 years ago, and on the same day, he was suspended by the party founder NTR for anti-party activities. Tagging Naidu, Deodhar predicted that he is out of power now and will soon disappear from politics also. “After all, Karma catches up with betrayers,” he added.
However, the BJP leader’s troll did not go down well with the netizens who took a dig at BJP through a tirade of comments. People reminded Deodhar how his party’s leadership had promised special status to Andhra Pradesh on the floor of the parliament to compensate for the loss caused to it due to the bifurcation of AP. He was also reminded of PM Modi’s many promises made to AP before the elections.
They also pooh-poohed BJP’s special package in place of special status saying no one could make any meaning out of it. While the issue of Naidu was an internal affair of a party, BJP’s betrayal matters to 5 crore people of a state that is struggling with mounting debts and unemployment.
