What is Pawan Kalyan up to in Delhi?

Nothing seems to be working out in favour of JanaSena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan in Delhi. It is unclear whether the power star has gone for a shoot or for a political visit.

The JanaSena Party which decided not to contest the GHMC polls after having negotiated with the BJP considers having made a big sacrifice. In order to compensate for this loss, JanaSenani Pawan Kalyan has flown to Delhi, to chalk out plans regarding the Tirupati Lok Sabha bypolls. However, according to close sources, Pawan’s wishes may not be fulfilled this time around.

Coming to Tirupati Lok Sabha bypolls no matter what the circumstances are the BJP is trying to field its own candidate. The BJP leaders feel it would be suicidal to allocate the Tirupati MP seat to JanaSena, despite considering the latter as an alternative to the YSRCP and TDP. The BJP leaders are leaving no stone unturned to contest from the Tirupati MP seat. Already many leaders, have shifted their base to Tirupati and are busy chalking out plans to choose candidates and political strategies. A meeting to discuss plans regarding the Tirupati LS bypoll has been scheduled on Tuesday.

However, JanaSena is requesting a chance to contest from Tirupati. It is said, that Pawan who is disappointed over the inability to contest in the GHMC polls has made the demand. Actually, JanaSena is considerably strong than the BJP in Tirupati and has higher winner chances, however, BJP leaders argue having a winning history. In 1999, Dr N Venkata Swamy won as the BJP MP candidate from Tirupati. Now, the BJP under PM Modi regime is trying to test its luck after a gap of two decades from the Holy City.
