After the sensational hits of Arjun Reddy and <em>Geetha Govindam,<\/em> Vijay encountered a series of flops with <em>NOTA, Dear Comrade,<\/em> and World <em>Famous Lover<\/em>. Even though these flops haven\u2019t affected his desirability factor, Vijay has now become extra careful in selecting the subjects.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently busy with a Pan-Indian film <em>Fighter<\/em> directed by Puri Jagannadh. Karan Johar is presenting this action film in Hindi markets. Before Fighter, Vijay started a film named <em>Hero<\/em> produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Its director Anand Annamalai even shot the first schedule in Delhi. Vijay is said to be acting in a bike racer\u2019s role in <em>Hero.\u00a0<\/em>Malavika Mohanan was roped in to play the female lead in it.<\/p>\n<p>After the completion of the first schedule, there is no update about the movie till now. Tollywood circles say that Vijay opted to complete Puri\u2019s <em>Fighter<\/em> after the debacle of <em>Dear Comrade<\/em> produced by Mythri Movie Makers. He reportedly told the producers that he will continue <em>Hero<\/em> after finishing the <em>Fighter.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But the team of <em>MMM<\/em> is said to be confused now as Vijay has given his nod to act in a film under the direction of Shiva Nirvana after <em>Fighter<\/em> recently. He is donning the role of an Army Major in it.
