The upcoming GHMC elections have heated up politics in Telangana. In this context, Balladeer Gaddar heaped praises on CM KCR which has led to a widespread discussion in the general public. During the 2018 elections, Gaddar had criticized the rule of CM KCR stating that he had never seen an administration being managed from a farmhouse. He had then raised his voice saying that Telangana shouldn\u2019t be a land of landlords instead a land of Dalits.<\/p>\n
Minister Koppula Eshwar during his campaign in Venkatapuram division met Gaddar at his residence when the latter recalled the hunger strike of KCR during the Telangana agitation. The minister told him that if CM KCR takes up the Federal Front, he would set up a Cultural front and include Gaddar in it. Gaddar praised KCR for having made the farmers of Telangana happy and prosperous by constructing the Kaleshwaram project.<\/p>\n
While Gaddar spoke to Minister Eshwar, the former also had a telephonic conversation with CM KCR for around half an hour. It is learnt that Gaddar changed his stance after poet Goreti Venkanna was given MLC post. Some also feel that Gaddar had praised KCR for his son\u2019s future. Earlier, Gaddar had even met Congress president Sonia Gandhi and had sought a ticket for his son. However, he later clarified that he met Sonia only to thank the latter for having given Telangana. A person who dedicated his life for raising his voice against anti-people policies of the government has given scope for discussion by praising the government before GHMC elections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
