Family members rushed Ramakrishna, a youth from Nadikudi village, to hospital after he suddenly lost consciousness. Two other youths in a similar manner lost consciousness and were admitted to the hospital, causing panic among people. However, the condition of one of those admitted to the hospital is still critical. According to locals, similar problems were being caused by the polluted water from effluents in the surrounding industries. They are demanding that the government take immediate action.<\/p>\n

Even after several days of the Eluru incident, the state Health Commissioner says that research should be done and only then there will be clarity.
