The MIM Party which has contested in several states and has affected the prospects of various political parties is focusing its strategy on Tamil Nadu. The party contested in Bihar and won a good number of seats and also decided who should come to power. It is now focusing on Tamil Nadu where the elections are due in the state in 2021.<\/p>\n
There are many small parties in Tamil Nadu that resort to religious politics. Usually, parties align with any of the two major political parties including DMK and AIADMK. Now, with the MIM too in the race, these parties would come under one umbrella. Owaisi is seriously thinking of getting along with all those parties and contest at least 25 seats. There are rumours that film star turned politician Kamal Hassan is also willing to have an alliance with a few parties. Both Owaisi and Kamal Hassan are likeminded. When Kamal demanded declaring Godse, the killer of Mahatma Gandhi, as a terrorist Owaisi had supported this. It is only Kamal Hassan who raised his voice against the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre. There will be no surprise if Owaisi also joins hands with Kamal Haasan.<\/p>\n
Tamil Nadu has political parties like Indian Union Muslim League, Indian National League, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi, All India Muslim League, Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath Party which does politics on religion. The places like Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Ramanathapuram, Pudukkottai, Thiruchi, Madurai, Tirunelveli have a large number of Muslims. They are not only affecting the victories and defeats of candidates but also can make candidates victorious. MIM Tamil Nadu President Shakil Ahmed, in an interview, said what his party was doing a survey to find out where the party can field the candidates.<\/p>\n
It can\u2019t be said whether it will be beneficial for the parties or not but by aligning with Kamal Haasan but it for sure that MIM is going to contest the election and very soon more details are likely to emerge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
