This Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu starrer went on to set a trend in the love genre. After a gap of five years, Srikanth bagged the golden opportunity to direct Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in <em>Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu<\/em>. This film made him a star director.<\/p>\n<p>After two stellar successes, the mega family fixed Srikanth as the director of Varun Tej\u2019s introduction film <em>Mukunda.<\/em> It bombed at the box office while Mahesh offered him another chance with <em>Brahmotsavam<\/em>. Mahesh even became a producer for it and Srikanth failed him utterly. <em>Brahmotsavam<\/em> became the biggest flop ever in Tollywood way back in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>It turned the world upside down for Srikanth and after four years, he has grabbed an opportunity to direct Victory Venkatesh. He is currently directing the remake of <em>Asuran<\/em> with Venkatesh named <em>Naarappa<\/em> which is produced by D. Suresh Babu. Venky is playing a vengeance filled rustic village dweller&#8217;s role in it.
