YSRCP rebel MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju once again attacked the AP Government over cracking down on Amaravati farmers who have been agitating for the promised annuity allowance. Welcoming the latest Supreme Court decision to not to vacate stay on three capitals, he expressed confidence that the ultimate victory will be of Amaravati farmers.<\/p>\n
He wondered how the state government which has no money to pay tenancy annuity to the farmers can build a new capital elsewhere. He criticized the government for wasting crores of rupees with its hasty decisions.<\/p>\n
On registering a criminal case against Dr. Gangadhar for criticizing lack of PPE kits for frontline warriors, he said it was clearly an \u2018act of vengeance\u2019. He pointed that the case was registered against Dr. Gangadhar, who was close to YS Rajasekhara Reddy, five months after his alleged comments. Stating that he too was receiving threats from his own party supporters, Raghurama Krishnam Raju warned such people to mind their own business. He said some people are even resorting to suicide unable to bear the harassment of the ruling party leaders. He alleged the role of YSRCP leaders behind the tonsuring incident in East Godavari district. The MP urged Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to order an impartial probe into the incident.<\/p>\n
Advising Chief Minister to keep the advisors who mislead him at a distance, Raju expressed dismay at resignation of a wise advisor like K Ramachandra Murthy. He also criticized the harassment of Dr. Ramesh and adding his caste tag to his name by YSRCP leaders.<\/p>\n
Faulting the government decision to reopen schools on September 5 amid pandemic, he said the government is bent on opening schools only for distribution of \u2018Jagananna shoes\u2019. He appealed to the government not to risk the lives of children for the sake of Jagan\u2019s publicity.<\/p>\n
Responding to the demands of YSRCP leaders for his resignations he stressed that he will win the re-election with three times more majority if he does so. \u201cI have contested and won the elections democratically.
