He garnered a whopping $194.8 billion as the shares of the electric vehicle company surged by 4.8%. The South African born engineer has also found his place in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which ranks the world’s 500 wealthiest individuals. Since a year, Musk\u2019s net worth has witnessed an increase of $150 billion as Tesla\u2019s stock price surged 750 % owing to the firm’s strong sales, consistent profits, and its foray into the Chinese market. While Tesla might make its entry into the Indian market in mid-2021 and efforts are on to ship the vehicles as completely built units (CBU).
