The apex court, which granted conditional bail, said it could take bail on its own recognizance, with two sureties and surety bonds of Rs one lakh. Guntur CID directed them to file these in court and seek bail. Put some conditions in relation to this case. It is said the investigating officer should go to trial if summoned and that the trial should take place in the presence of a lawyer, stipulating that he should not speak to the media or social media regarding the case. The Supreme Court has directed that custodial interrogation is not required as the FIR has been registered. The court was of the opinion that he had behaved rudely in custody.
