What is \u2018V\u2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n Many of you keep asking the same question. For now, \u2018V\u2019 is victory which the whole team is waiting for. We are hoping that the film will achieve its target, but to know the real story behind \u2018V\u2019 you have to wait until September 5th.<\/p>\n Tell us about your character<\/strong><\/p>\n I am playing the role of \u2018Apurva\u2019 who is a crime novel writer. I became excited after hearing about the character from Mohan Sir. My character in this film has different shades to it. While it appears obedient outside, it is daring and confident inside.<\/p>\n What do you think about the film\u2019s OTT release?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2018V\u2019 is a kind of film that is more suitable to watch on big screens. We tried to make it a marvellous cinematic experience but destiny had other plans for us. Every artist and director wants to watch their film in a theatre but as the circumstances are different, we opted for OTT release. But we are happy that ours is the first big film to be released on OTT and we wish it surpasses the expectations of audiences.<\/p>\n What do you look for in scripts?<\/strong><\/p>\n I listen to every script that comes to me. But my selection will solely be based on my ability to play a particular character to the best of my abilities.<\/p>\n Tell us about Nani\u2019s character<\/strong><\/p>\n Viewers who watched the teaser and trailer already confirmed that Nani is playing a negative character. But one has to wait and watch to know more about him in the film.<\/p>\n Tell about your team<\/strong><\/p>\n I am closely associated with Nani, Sudheer Babu and Aditi not only on the sets but also our personal lives. We share a great bonding and I have a great comfort level with director Indraganti Mohana Krishna as I worked with him before. He chooses actors based on characters and when he opted for me, I became confident that I can do justice for the film.<\/p>\n What is your equation with Nani?<\/strong><\/p>\n We are good friends and we generally discuss scripts which we like. I respect him as a friend and an actor because he accentuates the scope of a character he plays with a lot of ease. It is really inspiring.<\/p>\n What did you do during the lockdown?<\/strong><\/p>\n I read books, researched about technologies and also discussed the developments of scripts that come to me.<\/p>\n Let us know about your co-star Aditi<\/strong><\/p>\n Aditi is one of the sweetest persons I know in the industry. We both tried to do justice to our characters and it will reflect on the screen tomorrow.<\/p>\n What is your opinion on stardom?<\/strong><\/p>\n I don\u2019t care about it as I want to enjoy my current status. In my opinion, getting recognized as a good actress means a lot to me.<\/p>\n Are you being offered OTT chances?<\/strong><\/p>\n No, I haven\u2019t been offered anything on OTT yet. I have heard three scripts in Telugu recently and will inform you if I confirm anything.<\/p>\n Do you want to direct in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n I am just focusing on acting now. Nobody will call and ask me to direct a film. If I want to enter into direction, I will start by doing short films.<\/p>\n How do you co-operate with the producers?<\/strong><\/p>\n I have absolutely no idea about budgets and financial issues. We completed \u2018V\u2019 before lockdown and as an actress I have been supporting my producers constantly in publicity since then. I hope the situation will get back to normal again. I never trouble my producers in remuneration matters.<\/p>\n What is your opinion on nepotism?<\/strong><\/p>\n I have never faced any discrimination due to nepotism in the industry.
