Plot<\/strong><\/p>\n Daniel Alexander (Arjun Sarja) is a clever cop who gets deputed to capture Jack (Dileep), a thief who robs black money worth Rs.1700 crores in one and a half years. He comes to know that the thief is actually a businessman and it\u2019s impossible to arrest him without gathering proper evidence. He uses an undercover officer named Sushmitha to track the thief by introducing her as a photographer to him.<\/p>\n She begins to uncover his past during her investigation. The thief is an ex-military commander who loses his brother in an operation. His brother doesn\u2019t get any compensation in spite of dying in the duty and this disturbs him and makes him a thief to help all such families which were neglected by the Government. The rest of the plot involves the cat and mouse game between the cop and thief.<\/p>\n Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n Even though we have seen various cop and thief thrillers in the past, Jack & Daniel stands apart with its gripping screenplay and meticulous execution. Particularly, the robbery scenes are executed with great detail and stylish camera work. Director SL Puram Jayasurya\u2019s script is so tight that there is not even one scene that will make you feel bored. Dileep\u2019s portrayal of Jack\u2019s character gives us goose bumps and Arjun Sarja\u2019s Daniel character shows his finesse and experience. Supporting characters played by Asokan and Saiju Kurup have done justice for their roles and Anju Kurien as Sushmitha sparkles in her own way.<\/p>\n Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n Jack\u2019s shrewdness in planning his robberies without leaving a single clue for the Police is well shot. His tactics in escaping from the eyes of Police is the major highlight of the film.
