Srinu Vaitla is a director who started his career with small films and went on to direct big stars later. His comedy timing and screenplay sense is impeccable. He commanded a remuneration of Rs.10 crores on his heyday. But after \u2018Baadshah\u2019, his career graph declined so rapidly that he is now considered to be out of his prime. Srinu who gave Mahesh his career defining hit with \u2018Dookudu\u2019 started to run out of steam with \u2018Aagadu\u2019. It became one of the biggest disasters in Tollywood and his following films \u2018Bruce Lee\u2019, \u2018Mister\u2019 and \u2018Amar Akbar Antony\u2019 turned out to be flops.<\/p>\n
Once considered the master of comedy films, Srinu Vaitla started to reprise same characters and comedy sequences in his later films. This made viewers to slowly move away from his movies. Even hit movies like \u2018Dhee\u2019 and \u2018Ready\u2019 had nothing but slapstick comedy; but they managed to win the audiences due to interesting screenplay and underlying themes. After \u2018Aagadu\u2019, all his films flopped miserably at box office and no big star is ready to give him his dates. Even medium range stars are avoiding him, but it hasn\u2019t stopped him from approaching them with new scripts. As all the big stars are busy with their commitments, Srinu is said to have approached Manchu Vishnu to make a sequel of \u2018Dhee\u2019.<\/p>\n
Vishnu also showed interest to act in Dhee\u2019s sequel and spoke about it in a couple of interviews. But as \u2018Vidyaniketan Group of Institutuions\u2019 is not functioning due to lockdown, the Manchu family is said to be in financial troubles. His latest film \u2018Mosagallu\u2019 is also pending release and Vishnu is currently not interested to produce \u2018Dhee\u2019. Vishnu\u2019s track record is also not good lately and sources say that he is not confident about how Srinu Vaitla\u2019s declining form would help him revive his own career. So Srinu Vaitla is said to be standing in the cross roads of confusion now.<\/p>\n
