Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao acted in a handicapped role in \u2018Kalasivunte Kaladu Sukham\u2019 and scored a hit due to the strength in the story. His other experiment \u2018Chiranjeevulu\u2019 showcased him in a blind role and was rejected by the audiences as they were unable to accept NTR in that character.<\/p>\n
These kind of films portraying the leading stars in differently abled roles stopped after \u2018Chiranjeevulu\u2019 until Kamal Hassan came up with \u2018Amavasya Chandrudu\u2019. Samantha Akkineni is getting ready to act in a deaf and dumb role shortly. Her film is made as a trilingual under the direction of Ashwin Saravan.
