Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekara Rao has decided to intensify his efforts to build a third alternative at national level against both BJP and Congress. He is going to make use of farm bills and power reform bill brought by the NDA government recently. These bills triggered strong protests by farmers across the country. Agitators hit the roads in Punjab and other northern states against the three farm bills. KCR, who minced no words in lashing at these bills, is planning to unite all the chief ministers and political parties who are opposing them. He has already held a round of talks with southern chief ministers and opposition leaders. He is also in touch with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Tamil Nadu and Kerala chief ministers.<\/p>\n
Visit to Bengal and Punjab<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It is learnt that KCR is going to visit West Bengal and Punjab as part of his bid to form a national front. He will discuss the fallout of farm and electricity bills brought by the Centre with the chief ministers of the two states. Harsimrat Kaur Badal of NDA ally Shiromani Akali Dal resigned as Union food processing industries minister in protest against the farm bills. KCR is said to be planning to turn this anger at the BJP government into a political force in the form of national front by the time of next Parliament elections.<\/p>\n Where do Jagan and Naidu stand?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Where will Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu stand vis a vis KCR\u2019s proposed third front? Will they be part of it? Naidu and KCR are arch rivals and can\u2019t stand each other. In case of Jagan, though he has good relations with KCR, he is unlikely to antogonise BJP for whose mercies and goodwill he is yearning.
