Srikakulam MP K Rammohan Naidu and Paritala Ravindra\u2019s son Paritala Sriram have a good following among the youth. TDP leadership too planned to entrust Telugu Yuvata responsibility to one of them, but both are not willing to take up the job. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, unclear on the suitable candidate for the important post, has reportedly decided to keep the appointment in abeyance for some time.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t want president post<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Telugu Yuvata president has to tour the entire state. As every party programme requires active participation of youth, the TDP chief feels that Yuvata chief should be charismatic, affable and electrifying in order to mobilise enthusiastic youngsters. The leaders who have such qualities are not inclined to take up the job. Rammohan Naidu has several responsibilities as MP. Furthermore, he is a member of parliament standing committees and an important face for the TDP in Delhi where he spends most of the time. Hence, he reportedly refused the post.<\/p>\n Paritala Sriram is another popular young leader in the party. However, he has decided to confine himself to Anantapur district for now. Moreover, he is likely to face security problems as Yuvata chief since he has to tour various parts of the state. Because of these factors, it is learnt he has refused to take up the post.<\/p>\n Give me the job<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While some leaders are reluctant to take up the job, a few others are lobbying for it vigorously. One such young leader is Nadendla Brahmam, a former chief of the TDP student wing TNSF. Sources said Brahmam, who is close to party national general secretary Nara Lokesh, has been lobbying for the Yuvata chief post assuring to do justice to the job.<\/p>\n In view of the past experiences, Naidu is treading cautiously in picking up Telugu Yuvata chief.
