Raj Tarun\u2019s \u2018Orey Bujjiga\u2019 which was plagued with problems finally released on \u2018Aha\u2019 OTT platform. It was earlier scheduled to release in theatres for Ugadi but got postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Raj Tarun is completely out of his form now and needs a hit desperately. Let\u2019s see whether \u2018Orey Bujjiga\u2019 delivered that \u2018elusive\u2019 hit to him or not.<\/p>\n
Plot<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The story is based on how rumours disturb people\u2019s lives. Bujji (Raj Tarun) and Krishnaveni (Malavika Nair) are not known to each other. Bujjigadu leaves house to escape from his impending marriage. Incidentally, Krishnaveni also runs away. A person who sees the both of them at the railway station informs local residents that the duo have eloped together. The two become friends during the journey. Bujji\u2019s past has an impact on Krishnaveni and she begins to fall for him. In the meanwhile, misunderstandings arise and Krishnaveni begins to develop hatred for Bujji. Rest of the story revolves around Bujji\u2019s efforts to win back his love.<\/p>\n Analysis<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The comedy sequences in the movie have misfired big time in \u2018Orey Bujjiga\u2019. Screenplay stands as a weak point as it fails to sustain the interest of viewers. Even though both hero and heroine hail from the same town and both the families are known to each other, Bujji and Krishnaveni don\u2019t know each other. This doesn\u2019t quite connect with the audiences. Director Vijay Kumar Konda has failed to conceive meaningful scenes that can take viewers through an emotional journey. \u2018Orey Bujjiga\u2019 has flavours of director\u2019s earlier movie \u2018GundeJaari Gallanthayyinde\u2019.<\/p>\n Performances<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Strangely Raj Tarun missed the \u2018ease\u2019 in his performance which he is known for. His efforts to generate comedy has failed miserably. Malavika Nair is strictly okay and Hebah Patel\u2019s character holds no relevance. Director has failed to use Hebah\u2019s glamour quotient.
