Irrespective of any political affiliation, YSRCP Nagari MLA Roja is known for her firebrand image. She lands in trouble for her aggressive speeches and controversial comments. Roja who made her political entry in 1999 with the Telugu Desam Party, unsuccessfully contested against Chenga Reddy Reddyvari from Nagari and Aruna Kumari Galla from Chandragiri constituencies in 2004 and 2009 respectively. Overall, her stint in the TDP was a total failure.<\/p>\n
However, she turned her fortune around after joining YSRCP. Winning two times consecutively from Nagari, she was able to transform her political career totally. Roja was denied a ministerial berth in the YSRCP State Government\u2019s Cabinet as there were other senior leaders from the same community. In order to pacify her, the YSRCP high command appointed RK Roja as the chairman of APIIC.<\/p>\n
Lashes out at AP Deputy CM\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Roja hit out at AP Deputy CM K Narayana Swamy for having toured in Puttur which falls under her constituency. Being the local MLA, she expressed her displeasure saying that none can visit her constituency without informing her in advance. This is not the first time the duo have been at loggerheads with each other.<\/p>\n Conflict with Peddireddy too\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Nagari MLA\u2019s conflicts with Minister Peddireddy are famous in Chittoor district. Especially, Roja is unable to digest her opponent in Nagari Assembly constituency, KJ Kumar, being appointed as the chairperson of AP Ediga Corporation. Many suggest that the appointment was made at the behest of senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. Roja has confessed to her friends that Peddireddy is backing all the leaders who are trying to revolt against her. Following the growing differences, AP CM Jagan had advised Roja not to go against Peddireddy.<\/p>\n Will Roja get a ministerial berth?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Having sworn-in as the AP CM, YS Jagan had informed all ministerial aspirants not to get discouraged since he would reconstitute his Cabinet every two years. However, Jagan may not reshuffle his entire Cabinet and continue to retain senior leaders.
