TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh came down heavily on AP CM YS Jagan on Monday while he toured villages in the capital lands to express solidarity with farmers participating in \u2018Amaravati Parirakshana\u2019 agitation. Monday marks the completion of 300 days of the protest. Lokesh slammed the Jagan government and pacified the agitating farmers saying that not an inch of the capital land would shift from Amaravati. The Amaravati Parirakshana agitation has gained momentum following Lokesh\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n
What the Volkswagen Minister has to say?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Nara Lokesh while speaking at Penumaka, a neighbourhood of Amaravati, alleged that the ruling party was destroying the future of Andhra Pradesh by destroying its capital. He even recollected that the Volkswagen Minister who claimed Amaravati as graphics, was not to be seen when challenged. Lokesh had challenged the Volkswagen Minister to jump from atop the buildings if its graphics. Denying YSRCP\u2019s claims of heavy flooding as one of the reasons to shift the capital region, he told people not to be misled by such false claims, adding that he was pained by another YSRCP leader comparing Amaravati to burial ground.<\/p>\n More and more villages joining the agitation<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Amaravati agitation has intensified further with all nearby villages uniting against the shifting of the AP capital. Farmers, farmer unions, dalit unions and labourers in huge numbers have joined the agitation. With the TDP leaders and party workers backing the farmers protest, the momentum of the agitation has gone high. Guntur MP Jayadev Galla, TDP President for Guntur Parliamentary constituency Tenali Sravan Kumar, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh, TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna and several other top TDP leaders arrived in Amaravati for the three day Amaravati Parirakshana Solidarity Rallies called by TDP National President N Chandrababu Naidu.<\/p>\n Labourers struggling without jobs<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Guntur MP Jayadev Galla alleged that labourers in the construction industry have lost their jobs and are roaming free since YS Jagan Reddy took over as the AP CM. None of the companies have evinced interest to set shop in the state, and those companies operating in the state are moving out to other states. However, the TDP General Secretary took a dig at CM YS Jagan saying that the latter helped the state rank number one in Corona cases.
