The Nampally Court on Monday passed judgments in cases involving Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and several others. The Nampally Second Sessions court acquitted Talasani in two separate cases due to lack of proper evidence. It may be known that there are pending cases on as many as 4,000 public representatives nationwide and more than 100 public representatives in the State. However, a special tribunal has been set up to hear the cases against the public representatives on the directions of the Supreme Court. The trial relating to the case of Talasani Srinivas Yadav was held on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
11-year-old case<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The court acquitted Talasani in a case registered almost 11 years ago. According to Talasani\u2019s lawyer Aduri Chinna Srinivas, who pleaded on behalf of Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the then Tukaram Gate police had filed a case against him on April 13, 2009 for allegedly setting up a stage without permission at Addagutta cross roads in Secunderabad. The police officials registered a case against five persons including Ajay Babu as A1 and Talasani Srinivas Yadav as A5 under section 188, 290, 143. Similarly, in 2014 another case was registered making MN Srinivas as A1 and Talasani as A2 and booked cases under section 188, 76 of CP Act by the Gandhinagar police.<\/p>\n The hearing was held on Tuesday in the special court set up to hear the cases of MLAs and the MPs in the Nampally second sessions court. Justice Varaprasad acquitted all the accused including the minister citing lack of proper evidence.<\/p>\n Several VIPs attend<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Nampally Special Court has been hearing the cases against public representatives. Many MLAs, MPs, former ministers and leaders are appearing in courts for hearings.
