It is a high-voltage action and emotional thriller that won admiration of audiences. <em>Khaidi<\/em> portrays the story of a prisoner who gets released due to good behaviour but is forced to help the Police department because of circumstances. It sported an underlying father-daughter sentiment that glued audiences to the silver screens.<\/p>\n<p>It was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who is now making <em>Master<\/em> with Vijay. Khaidi is now being remade in Hindi by Reliance Entertainments. Ajay Devgan is playing the lead role in it. Grapevine is Ajay\u2019s wife Kajol has been roped in to play his screen wife in this remake. Kajol is also said to have satisfied with her character and given her nod.
