Nagina<\/em> is a super hit Bollywood film that portrayed Sridevi in a shape-shifting divine snake. It was released in 1986 and we cannot forget her vengeance-filled performance till today. Even though Rishi Kapoor is named as protagonist in the title cards, Sridevi shouldered the entire weight of the film.<\/p>\n

A sequel named Nigahen<\/em> appeared in 1989 starring Sunny Deol and Sridevi reprising her role. It became a flop and Nagina\u2019s<\/em> role is being revived in Bollywood after three decades. Saaho<\/em> actress Shraddha Kapoor has been chosen to play the role played by the legendary beauty Sridevi and the former tweeted about it on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

This Naagin film is directed by Vishal Furia and bankrolled by Nikhil Dwivedi under Saffron Broadcast & Media. Makers are constructing a huge set for the film and the pre-production work is currently going on for this highly anticipated film. We have to wait and see how Shraddha Kapoor fits into the shoes of Sridevi.<\/p>\n
