The Hyderabad-Pune-Mumbai high-speed rail corridor will cover a distance of 711 kms and once completed it would drastically reduce the travel time between the three cities. The Central Government intends to begin the work next year and wrap it up by 2026. A tender has also been floated for preparing a detailed project report and a pre-bid meet will be held on November 5th.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre has identified seven high-speed rail corridors \u2013<br \/>\n\u2022 Delhi \u2013 Lucknow &#8211; Varanasi (865 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Mumbai \u2013 Nasik \u2013 Nagpur (741 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Delhi \u2013 Jaipur \u2013 Ahmedabad (886 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Chennai \u2013 Mysore (435 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Delhi \u2013 Chandigarh \u2013 Amritsar (459 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Mumbai &#8211; Pune &#8211; Hyderabad (711 kms)<br \/>\n\u2022 Varanasi \u2013 Patna \u2013 Howrah (760 kms)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The city of Hyderabad which has MMTS and Metro services will now take advantage of bullet trains as part of the high-speed rail corridor network.
