Looks like the YSRCP is not bothered about AP High Court’s orders which stated that government offices shouldn’t be branded with ruling party colours. It is known that the YSRCP had earlier painted village secretariats, ward secretariats, rythu bharosa centres and overhead water tanks with their party flag colours. Recently in Guntur, a new controversy has come to the fore after District Urban SP Ammireddy had flagged off two-wheeler police vehicles branded in YSRCP flag colours.
Doesn’t court rulings apply to police?
The decision taken by Guntur Urban SP Ammireddy, who got YSRCP colours branded on police two-wheelers, has now become a trending topic of discussion. Former Home Minister Chinarajappa slammed police officials for painting YCP colours on government vehicles. He said that the colour branding has reached its peak for the YCP leaders and their ‘devotees’.
