Director Meher Ramesh’s name is a synonymous for disaster. All his films flopped miserably at box office. Strangely Ramesh’s narration skills are top-notch which made him get green signal from the stars. But his direction skills are utterly disastrous. He convinced NTR two times with these narration skills for ‘Kantri’ and ‘Shakti’. Meher Ramesh’s ‘Billa’ with Prabhas and ‘Shadow’ with Venky will stand as the best examples of absurdity in movies. This director also has a habit of increasing the budget which made a big producer like Ashwini Dutt run into huge losses.
After a gap of seven long years, Meher Ramesh is back into limelight due to his upcoming film with Megastar Chiranjeevi. After his comeback film ‘Khaidi No.150’, Chiranjeevi went on to star in a Pan-Indian magnum opus ‘Sye Ra Narasimha Reddy’ which fared decently at the box office. He is currently busy with Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya’. After Acharya, he is ready to sign a couple of movies with young directors.
But his decision to sign a film with Meher Ramesh shocked his fans and audiences alike. Chiranjeevi has given his nod to work with him for the upcoming remake of Tamil hit ‘Vedhalam’. Even though megastar’s well-wishers warned him, Chiru is said to be happy with the changes in the script that Ramesh did to accommodate his craze. Megastar is also said to be taking extreme care in deciding the film’s budget as the director doesn’t have craze in the market. It is good to see Chiranjeevi help out someone who has been counted out of the industry. He is truly a megastar for giving a ‘restart’ to Meher Ramesh.
