‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Cheetu’ is the movie that revived the multi-starrer trend in Tollywood again. It was released for Sankranthi in 2013 and went on to become a blockbuster. The epic combination of Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh made people flock to theatres. This Srikanth Addala film stood as a torchbearer for more such combinations on Telugu silver screen.
Grapevine is that ‘Guruji’ Trivikram is trying to repeat the magical combination of Mahesh and Venky in his upcoming film. This would be Guruji’s first multi-starrer and he is said to have already completed the script. While Trivikram is occupied with NTR’s film, Venkatesh is busy with ‘Naarappa’ and Mahesh is locked with Parasuram’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. We have to wait and see when these actors will become free for Trivikram’s film.
