Nag Ashwin is the face of changing Tollywood cinema. While his debut film ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ showcased his mastery of handling drama, Ashwin’s second film ‘Mahanati’ took him to a whole different level. He is currently busy with the pre-production work of Prabhas’s science fiction film which is being made with a whopping budget of Rs.400 crores. It is produced by his ‘home’ banner ‘Vyjayanthi Movies’.
Before Nag Ashwin’s movie, Prabhas has to act in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ which is based on the epic of Ramayana. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of ‘Lankesh’ in it. Nag Ashwin is reportedly making a lady-oriented web series before Prabhas’s film. Shruti Hassan is reportedly playing the lead role in it. Along with Nag Ashwin, there are another three filmmakers directing this web series. As per sources, Nag Ashwin has already finished his episodes.
Prabhas is also said to be taking active part in the story discussions of Nag Ashwin’s film. Filmnagar circles are abuzz that Prabhas will concentrate fully on Telugu films after finishing ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Adipurush’. His fans are happy that their favourite actor became the first true Pan-Indian star of the nation.
