Legendary singer S.P Balasubrahmanyam left us due to health ailments on 25th September 2020. The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the list of Padma awardees on Monday. The nation’s second-highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan has been conferred on S.P Balu posthumously.
There are a total of 119 Padma awards for 2020 constituting seven Padma Vibhushan awards, ten Padma Bhushan awards, and 102 Padma Shri awards. This is a proud moment for the Telugus residing all over the world.
