Power star Pawan Kalyan’s second innings is nothing short of a carnival as the directors started flocking to him like anything with exciting scripts. He gave his nod to as many as five projects to date after Vakeel Saab and the first of them is Krish’s Virupaksha. This historic fiction is produced by star producer A.M Rathnam with an exorbitant budget of Rs.100crores.
A little bit of confusion prevailed about Virupaksha’s schedules as Pawan accepted to star in the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum alongside Rana Daggubati immediately. This remake is directed by Saagar K. Chandra and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments.

But Pawan put an end to these speculations by attending the shooting of Virupaksha today. Power star is playing a role in the lines of Robin Hood in it in the backdrop of the Mughal era. The first look of Virupaksha which was released on Pawan’s birthday garnered a huge response.
A great news to share with all of you, @PawanKalyan garu resumed shooting for @DirKrish's #PSPK27. More updates to follow! #AMRatnam @mmkeeravani
