With the success of iSmart Shankar, Puri Jagannadh has regained his confidence and is now handling a Pan-Indian film with Rowdy Vijay Devarakonda. It is named Fighter and will be presented by Karan Johar in Bollywood. Sandalwood is buzzing with a crazy update that Puri will direct a film with KGF star Yash now.
Yash was already a star in Kannada much before KGF happened, but was largely unknown to outsiders. KGF took his craze to the next level and his performance in it was well received by audiences from every part of the nation. KGF-2 should have wrapped up its shooting and released by now if not for lockdown.
A birdie says Puri Jagannadh has narrated a script to Yash which impressed the latter a lot. This film will supposedly be made on a Pan-Indian scale owing to Yash’s newfound craze. If sources are to be believed, this film will go on to the sets in the coming February.
